Heather proudly serves on the Board of Directors for Diamond in the Ruff Pet Rescue, bringing a passion for animal welfare and a commitment to making a difference in the lives of pets and their people. Through her service on the Board, she is dedicated to ensuring every animal that comes through Diamond in the Ruff has the chance for safety, healing, and a forever home.
Heather wears many hats to help support the rescue’s mission. Their role includes assisting with public relations and community outreach, helping to raise awareness about the rescue and its programs through events and local partnerships. Behind the scenes, Heather contributes to the rescue’s long-term sustainability by helping with treasurer duties and financial oversight, making sure that donations and resources are managed responsibly and effectively.
