Update 2/24/23: This dog is great! Toby has learned so much in the last few months! He knows how to sit, shake and lay down and has been potty-trained, crate-trained for many months. He plays very well with dogs of all sizes and he's great with kids. He is cautious meeting new adults but warms up to them in a matter of minutes. He has developed so much confidence learning his new skills. 

Update 11/22/22: Toby is a lab-mix who is sweet as pie and smart! Potty- training was a breeze with him and he is quickly building confidence in new situations. He is playful and loving and gets a long well with other dogs. He is adapting nicely to new people and new environments  with lots of patience and practice. It has been fun to see him come out of his shell, develop confidence and become a fun and playful puppy! He is fully vaccinated, neutered, crate-trained, potty-trained, microchipped and working on basic obedience skills. He is 27 lbs with the likely potential to be in the 50 lb range. 

October 3rd, 2022: Toby is currently 14 weeks old and is a male mixed breed dog. He was found near the Devil's Lake area afflicted with mange and malnourished with gastrointestinal parasites. He hasn't experienced much other than living in an outdoor wooden kennel with his 3 sisters. He is quite timid and shy and cautious of new things. He's adjusting well to living indoors, having a collar and leash on and running around with his foster brothers in the yard. 

Potty-training is going very well and he is crate-trained. He is so sweet and cuddly and loves to just sit on your lap and nap. He will make a great companion for someone looking for a medium  to large breed dog who can accompany you hiking and then snuggle on the couch!
