Marigold and her litter mates were born under the deck of a very kind, caring couple's house. Their mama survived the winter by finding shelter under the deck and receiving fresh water and food from the sweet owners. The care continued following the litter's birth until they were old enough to be weened off mama and able to be caught, when they were surrendered to our rescue in hopes of finding safe, loving, furever homes. 

Marigold was one of the first to be caught, but one of the last to start learning to trust humans. She's a beautiful little gal who loves to play with the other cats in the homes. She's come a long way since being rescued but is still a little shy and startles easy with new sounds or loud noises. Marigold will take time to warm up to her new humans and she does tend to hide when new people are present so a calm, quieter home would be the best fit for her. She also finds great comfort in her sister Sunflower so it would be in her best interest for Marigold and Sunflower to be adopted together . ** Marigold has been using the litter box with no issues. She's had a wellness exam and vaccinations and has been FIV/FeLV tested. Prior to her adoption, Marigold will also be spayed and microchipped (lifetime enrollment).
