Update March 2024: Oreo has been learning lots while with Diamond in the Ruff! She can sit, stay (for almost 5 seconds) and learning 'shake'. She is very well crate-and potty-trained. She loves to fetch and run and is so happy to run circles in the yard and wrestle with her foster brothers. She is good with school-age children and adults of all types. She would be a perfect companion  for a family that hikes or camps. She loves car rides and loves to explore her environment!

November 2023: Oreo is a lively and intelligent puppy who is already potty-trained and knows how to sit. She enjoys running around and barking, and is quite adept at walking on a leash. Oreo can be comfortably confined to a wire-crate or kennel as well. However, she can be defensive when meeting other dogs due to a lack of experience. After just one day of positive interactions with a bigger dog, she became more confident and was running around, chasing and playing with him. Oreo is a mix of two smart and active breeds, making her the ideal companion for an active family or someone who wants to explore agility or rally sport dog events. She is great with both adults and kids, from young to school-aged. 

It should be noted that Oreo would not be suitable for living in an apartment as she is still reactive to strange noises. Furthermore, she needs plenty of space to run and explore, so a fenced yard is a must. Despite being with our rescue for just a few days, she has already shown her intelligence by learning quickly.
